Large Round Modernist French Chandelier Joubert and Petit DIM, 1930
About the Item
Large and Fabulous Art Moderne 30"; diameter chandelier invokes the promise of the future as understood by the designer in 1933. Frosted glass discs with polished strip edging hover above a nickel plated bronze coup. Concentric rings of glass hop the vertical structure to terminate at a fluted metal canopy. Bottom coup finish is in original condition, and is pinned with a heavy umbrella shaped bronze finial.

The chandelier has not been replated. The finish on the nickel is original and is therefore very slightly worn as seen in the photos.
It can hold six candelabra sockets @ 60watts each bulb=360 watts
