About the Item
Lisa Johansson-Pape (1907-1989) was a Finnish designer best known for her works in lightings. She paid more attention to the function of the lamp firstly, then the design feature secondly.
Lisa designed furniture for Stockmann for a number of years, after which she turned her attention to lamps, also at the Stockmann owned company Orno Oy. She won a number of medals for her lighting designs in the Milan Triennials in the 1950s.
This is a beautiful variation of Lisa Johansson-Pape`s ceiling lamp model 71-005 with a beautiful minimalistic wire flower pattern as a central ornament.
The lamp is in full original condition down to the wirings. The blown glass shade is also original and has a stunning cream colour that will filter off a soothing light no matter what kind of lamps used.
This minimal medium sized lamp suits any room you could think of from a kitchen, a living space, to a bedroom and even a bathroom.
