M4 Suspension Light by Michel Mortier for Disderot
About the Item
M4 suspension light by Michel Mortier originally designed in 1952. Current production designed in France by Disderot. Enameled metal and aluminum. Wired for U.S. junction boxes. Takes one E27 100w maximum bulb. Bulb provided as a one time courtesy. CE and UL listed. Numbered edition, delivered with authentication certificate. Designed in the shape of a hot air balloon, the M4 ceiling light represents part of the lighting revolution in the early 1950s. It is one of the few lamps in the world to offer all three lighting modes in a single source: focused light, upward light and discrete light for gentle illumination. Overall drop can be adjusted.
