Maison Arlus Chandelier No. 305
About the Item
Very rare original chandelier from Maison Arlus, France, circa 1955. Chandelier is in the form of a bouquet of flowers. Eight arms bent organically to represent long stems with white satin glass shades like lily flowers inside brass cone base. The bouquet is 'tied' with a brass band above which is a cluster of 'foliage' depicted with delicate wisps of pulled glass tendrils inside hollow brass reeds. Three cut crystals ascend the central rod. Brass canopy to be customized.
Rewired. Including eight B22 to E12 socket adapters. Accepts eight 60 watt candelabra screw cap bulbs.
