Mario Bellini 'Nuvola' pendant for Nemo A delightful cloud-shaped pendant lamp designed by Mario Bellini with the structure executed in a natural opal polyethylene. Crafted with rotational molding, the Nuvola pendant casts a widespread and comfortable diffused light throughout any space, whether it is displayed in singles or grouped in multiples. Suspended by three adjustable cables, the Nuvola is always displayed joyfully regardless of the weather outside. Made to order with the finest quality materials and to the exacting standards by Nemo in Italy. Founded in 1993 by Franco Cassina and Carlo Forcolini in Italy, Nemo was established to recreate the lighting pieces that best represented the "Golden Age" of Italian lighting design of the 1960s and 70s. An incredible Italian sculptural pendant light from the 1970s. The chrome frame has six candelabra sockets housed inside a large 21.5 inch diameter opaque white mushroom top shade. The shade is hand blown with a layer of white glass over clear glass to create the see through opaque shade. Inside are six chrome candelabra sockets that extend up through the top dish on the globe. The pendant hangs on a single chrome rod with with original matching chrome ceiling canopy. The bottom of the glass shade is open to reveal an internal white enamel shade with single standard socket.
