Mid 19th Century Crystal Chandelier by F&C Osler of Tent and Waterfall Design

About the Item

This signed F. & C. Osler chandelier of Classic tent and waterfall design is of the finest quality, featuring lapidary or "rule cut" prisms of graduated size. The outer, or main ring is mounted with star form rosettes and faceted spikes. The up, or 'kick' arms feature scallop cut bobeches that support tapering cut spires. The waterfall consists of graduated concentric rings hung with lapidary cut prisms terminating in a faceted drop finial.
