About the Item
A mid century modern crystal glass vintage chandelier / pendant Mod. Quazar, which features a brass dome and thirty pieces of curved clear crystal glass sticks. The impressive and beautiful chandelier with a reduced shape was designed by Cari Zalloni and manufactured by the lighting company Bakalowits & Sohne, Vienna, 1960.
Cari Zalloni ( 1937 - 2012 ) studied under Oswald Haerdtl at the masterclass of the Academy of Applied Art in Vienna.
He designed furnitures, ceramics and especially known for his great eyewear designs for CAZAL eyewear.
The chandelier shows four sockets: Three sockets E 14 and one socket E 27.
