About the Item
Large Mid-Century Modern six-light chandelier in the style of (attributed) to Pietro Chiesa and Fontana Arte in the shape of an UFO or Flying Saucer, in brass and carved curved glass displaying stars, Italy, 1940's.
The brass hardware has not been polished, the last photo shows a section that wasn't exposed and has not acquired the same patina, this would not be evident when hung as it originally hung (as shown in most photos of the listing) but the brass can also be polished if desired.
The beige/green bulb holders seem to have been re-lacquered.
This is one of the largest glass disks we have handled.
