12 Lights chandelier - 1950s- stilnovo type
Polished brass & hand-blown opal glass blossoms
diameter 32" original height 37"
This organic chandelier is a timeless and elegant masterpiece of mid-century Italian Furniture Design, attributed to the STILNOVO circle. The lightsculpture impresses with clear lines and perfect proportions. The lighting in very good vintage condition is carefully cleaned and rewired. The brass surfaces show signs of life, which is no way impairing the chandeliers elegance. The 12 (+ 2 reserve) hand-blown elliptical blossoms show the typical signs of handmade glass (small trapped bubbles or irregularities) and made of 2-layered opaline glass (white inside & hand-satinated transparent outside). The diameter is 32" & the original height 39".
