About the Item
The Linea is a modern pendant in a brass burnished finish is designed by William Brand, founder of Brand van Egmond. Full of character and created to bring light above a table, the pendant is available in four dimensions and in the finishes black matt, nickel, brass, brass burnished, and nickel aged. Custom dimensions and finishes upon request.
Truthful and pure, the Linea makes a precise yet playful statement through thin lines of beauty. Floating through the sky, as if a magical formula brought to a standstill the whirlwind of steel, fire, and light. Frozen, both in time as well as in space. Just like airplanes can leave a composition of line-shaped clouds - the passing proof of human movement in the air - the Linea is like a drawing of illuminating lines in the sky. Temporarily mid-air, permanently illuminating. Creating a beautiful light is like good architecture: a matter of proportions.
The Linea collection is available as a chandelier and pendant. Standard the Linea will be delivered with reflector bars in the finish of the lamp. The reflector bars can be delivered in various finishes on request.
PLEASE NOTE:
Please note that for 110-120 voltage, different lightbulbs ‘E26 Tube LED’ are used in the Linea collection, as seen here. For 230 voltage, the lightbulbs 'S14D Tube LED Light' are used. Discover the Linea collection by searching on 'Brand van Egmond' in the top menu or send us your question.
Upon receiving your confirmation, our atelier will start with the creation by hand of your ordered lighting sculpture. After your confirmation, we can no longer change the specifications of your order.

Brand Van Egmond
Brand van Egmond was founded by William Brand in 1989. After graduating from the School of Arts he sought absolute freedom to create without restraints. The atelier, located just outside Amsterdam, is well known for its artistic and sculptural approach to lighting. Every year new collections of lighting sculptures are born, adding character to some of the most beautiful spaces across the globe. Combining infinite patience with love for handwork, Brand van Egmond pays homage to the time-honored tradition of craftsmanship. Created to last for generations, its quality protects it from the passage of time. Their clientele is as eclectic as their collections: ranging from Royals to Rappers. Having studied architecture at the School of Arts, William for several years created buildings and interiors for leading fashion brands. His interior designs are always minimalistic, in contrast to his lighting which has a powerful sculptural presence. He considers his lights the focal point of a space: adding emotion and character. Besides creating the regular collections, William is at times commissioned to create a unique lighting installation. His work has been on display at art museums in the USA (SCAD), Turkey (Museum of Modern Art) and during several editions of the world’s leading art fair Tefaf.
