Murano Art Glass and Brass Italian Chandelier and Pendant, 1970
About the Item
Fantastic round chandelier in Murano glass and polished brass. Note the shape of the rods with which it is formed.
Murano chandelier in art glass and brass. Formed by a circular structure, to which transparent glass "torchon" rods are inserted. These are placed in a lined along the perimeter of a circle, and hooked in the upper and in the lower part to the brass bands. Below it is closed by a brass band, also it along the entire perimeter. In the lower central part there is a sanded glass to close. The shape is that of a flattened drum. A sort of very elegant ceiling light.
The chandelier can be hung from the ceiling either as a ceiling light or as a normal chandelier by extending it with a brass tube and a nice canopy.
