About the Item
This splendid chandelier from the 1920s is in straw-colored or dark amber colored Murano blown glass. The design is by the MVM Cappellin company which will then merge into Venini and so the chandelier will therefore be a model also taken up by Venini from that moment on.
The elegance of Murano glass bounces between a glitter and a wave, between the curved lines of the arms and the gentle hills of the main structure. An important chandelier that recalls the years of explosive Murano inventiveness and Italian design, then still linked to the richest and most variegated classical figures, before the full advent of rationalism.
