Neoclassical Style Brass and Glass Pendant Light with Hand-Painted Landscape
About the Item
Neoclassical style brass and glass pendant light with hand-painted landscape from circa the 1920s.
This stunning Neoclassical-style pendant light fixture features a yellow and pale salmon color glass lampshade - an oval bowl. The lampshade is adorned with a beautiful hand-painted landscape depicting a river or lake, sailing boats, and mountains in the background. The painting is signed "Folly". The glass bowl is attached to a decorative brass rim with chains and a brass ceiling canopy.
One socket for E27 (E26) size light bulb.
Dimensions: height: circa 50 cm / 19.68 in; diameter: circa 25 cm / 9.84 in.
In good condition with slight signs of aging and use.
The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we always suggest a qualified electrician install it.
