Original Vintage Opaline British Church Pendant Lights Trio

About the Item

These original 1960s church lights were recovered from a church in the north east of England. SOLD AS A SET OF THREE. Originally hung in churches in groups on large wrought iron rings. The opaline glass has been formed into a wonderful curved shape, open to the underside and new polished brass galleries top off these elegant pendant lights. A beautiful feature lights which looks stunning set out in multiples in a linear layout over counter tops and also as a small grouped pendant in a trio. THE USE OF OPALINE LIGHTS IN CHURCHES Vintage opaline church lights are a type of lighting fixture that was originally used in churches and other religious buildings. These lights typically feature a large opaline glass shade, which diffuses the light and creates a soft, ambient glow. When renovating our original reclaimed lighting all existing electrical parts are removed and renewed with modern electrical components. All components used are CE certified and our lights are wired & tested in line with BSEN Standards. As standard our lights come with 1m of our premium fabric three core cable to a colour of your choice unless stated otherwise in the product description. Generally, ES or BS lamp holders are used unless otherwise stated and are fully compatible with main dimmers and modern LED filament bulbs. Our lights can be wired to bespoke specifications, longer lengths, different cable types and compatibility with specialist dimming systems such as DALI can all be accommodated. Lights supplied to U.S.A and Canada are installed using UL Certified cable and lamp holders. As standard we supply round black fabric cable and E26 holders. Please note that although we use UL certified components our original reclaimed lights do not come with UL certification. Due to the antique nature of our original vintage lights, we cannot offer an official IP rating and cannot guarantee our lights for external use.
