Pair French Antique Crystal & Bronze Chandeliers
About the Item
Spectacular pair of Antique French Crystal and Gilt Bronze Chandeliers.
A matched pair of early 20th century French Basket Chandeliers. 1920's French Empire inspired Crystal and Gilt Bronze Chandeliers. Draped graduated facet cut crystal beads hang from a gilt bronze foliate capped ring surround. The beaded crystals flowing downward from large tapering to small create a suspended basket form by connecting to a brass plate with gilt bronze floriate crest and brass acorn finial. Elongated triangular cut crystal prisms encompass these amazing chandeliers hanging from the bronze rings circling the outside of the tops. The center of each are toped in crowns of splayed brass rods with hanging drop crystal prisms. The gilt bronze and brass features have a very splendid patina. These are simply gorgeous and elegant chandeliers. A very unqiue and special pair of French Crystal chandeliers.
Each chandelier has 6 E14 sockets using 6 E12 US socket adapters for 6 US E12 candelabra LED 40W equivalent soft white bulbs. These lamps will work with either US E12 candelabra bulbs or European E14 Bulbs.
