Pair of Egyptian Revival Theater Bowl Fixtures
About the Item
Pair of hanging theater bowls, in a decadent late Egyptian Revival style found in the movie palaces of the early 20th Century. Perfect for a home theater or a dramatic hallway. Painted polychrome decoration with gold and silver leaf. Bowls made from Horse or ox hair plaster. The bowls are completely opaque, so all lighting is reflected up to ceiling. Minor chipping on top rim that is visible in the attached pictures. These bowls are not currently wired, C. 1915
