Peill & Putzler Pendant Lamp "Wave", 1970s
About the Item
Peill & Putzler pendant lamp furura, also called Wave: Very well preserved pendant lamp from the 1970s. This lamp is the large version with a shade diameter of 33 cm. This classic was designed by Koch & Lowy for the company Peill & Putzler in Düren and won the IF Design Award in 1975.
The lamp is made of clear glass and chrome-plated metal. The special feature of this lamp is the organic shape of the shade with the wave-shaped indentations that give it its name, as well as the chrome-plated lamp holder, which is led through the interior of the shade. The structure of the lamp comes into its own best with a head mirror lamp. The canopy is made of black plastic. To secure it, the cable contains an integrated steel cable that is guided in the cable and fixed to the lamp and the ceiling hook. All in all, a very solid work with - in the truest sense of the word - extraordinary charisma.
