Pendant light "bb" in Sand-Cast Brass with Glass Diffuser by Corpus Studio
About the Item
The “bb” pendant is part of Corpus Studio’s sculptural bb collection. The collection seeks to explore the limits between minimal and maximal, brutalism and elegance, sensual and humorous.
The sculptural design comes from the convergence of tectonic experiments in material, form, and technique; whereby many parts of the same can make a whole and the assembly becomes and aesthetic act.
The “bb” pendant is a collectible piece of contemporary design that has a unique character.
Made in sand-casted brass, this lamp is also available in bronze, aluminium, and copper. The diffuser is made from 2cm thick cast glass and features a textured surface, the overall effect gives a crystalline-like refraction of light. To further enhance the quality of light, the diffuser is sandblasted on the inside, softening it and giving a gentle glow to the entire glass element.
The lamp is fitted with dim-to-warm LED strip lighting and Casambi controller. Alternative configurations are possible on request. The lamp rod material is matched to the lamp and has a standard length of 120cm or can be made to specifications. (NB rod length excluded from overall dimensions given)
The collection is entirely made in France by expert artisans and before shipment a certificate of authenticity will be provided after inspection of each piece made in person by Corpus Studio.
