Rare Early French 20th Century Art Deco Bronze and Carved Alabaster Chandelier
About the Item
A large and rare early French 20th century Art Deco and silvered bronze carved veined cream alabaster eight-light figural chandelier. The impressive carved ovoid plafonnier with a carved finial mounted on a circular banded frame surmounted with alabaster lights above silver plated bronze ram-heads joined with swag wreaths, all supported with four tassel supports with bowties and a sunburst canopy. The plafonnier lit by a single light in the shape of a hanging tassel, Paris, circa 1900.
