rare gilded bronze art deco chandelier signed J.Coduré Lyon 1930s art nouveau
About the Item
Imposing Art Deco chandelier from the 1930s, signed J. Coduré, a Lyon silversmith of the period. Gilded bronze structure (the chandelier is quite heavy) with a central frieze featuring floral motifs. 5 white frosted glass shades, created using a "pressed" glass technique that allows for tulip-shaped decoration on all the glass. Very beautiful chandelier, in very good vintage condition (see photo). Signature engraved on one edge of the suspension.
