About the Item

Sculptural and highly decorative two-tier light fixtures. The peacock has, since ancient times, been regarded as an animal with many positive and even healing characteristics. And that has inspired many artist and designers through all times and up until today. Looking at the past circa hundred years the peacock was first integrated in the Art Nouveau style. The growing back of feathers falling out in that period was associated with 'rebirth' and 'the eternal circle of life'.
