Rare Silver Purple Preben Fabricius & Jørgen Kastholm Pendant Lamp Nordisk Solar

About the Item

Very nice silver & purple colored Preben Fabricius & Jørgen Kastholm P376 ceiling lamp. Design 1964 and manufactured by Nordisk Solar in Denmark. The insides of the shades are in a beautiful original purple color which when the light is turned on, gives off a beautiful and nice light effect. This vintage version is in a good condition without dents, only some small scratches as shown in the pictures. The lamp comes with an E26/27 Edision porcelain screw socket, max. 150 Watt. With the new electric fabric cord, canopy and holder for the ceiling hook the lamp is ready to use worldwide. Preben Juul Fabricius (1931–1984) was a Danish furniture designer who worked together with Jørgen Kastholm. During the 1960s, the pair designed a wide range of pieces for the German Alfred Kill who had a furniture factory in Fellbach near Stuttgart. The pieces of furniture they produced during their seven-year period of cooperation from 1961 to 1968 were so distinctive that many are still produced today as classics. As a result of disagreements, the pair decided to terminate their cooperation in 1968.

Rewired: New lilac fabric cord, fit nice to the origonal purple reflector shades. If you don't like the colored electric fabric cord we can change it also into white or black. Minor losses. Very nice condition, large shade with some scratches, no dents, no parts missing, new wiring and ready to use.
