Regency Six-Light Brass and Cut-Crystal Chandelier, Circa:1810, London
About the Item
This is English Regency chandelier work at its very best - the perfect statement fixture for a grand dining room, foyer, or living room. Originally a candle-burning fixture, it has been electrified with well-concealed wiring. Hand-cast gilt and patinated bronze with neo-classical detail. Original English hand cut crystal components, including a rather spectacular 17" diameter central bowl. The exquisite hand diamond cutting on the glass throws a fire of color in all directions. Overall diameter, including the arms, is 27". Includes ceiling cap, hanging hardware, and one foot of appropriate chain.
