About the Item
Chandelier Louis XV, In bronze, 64 arms lights, antique fuinish done on top of an 18 carats gold electrolyse.Dimensions : Height 260 cm x 190 cm diameter.
Very important Louis XV style chandelier in gilt bronze with rock crystal pendants.
Made in the form of a cage, the central shaft of “baluster” shape is surrounded by sixty-four arms of light ending in foliage and decorated with faceted rock crystal pendants.
We have this one in stock however we can reproduce it in an other finish or in an other size with rock crystal pendants or clear crystal pendants. Price will change depending on finish and crystal types.
We manufacture most of our orders bespoke : from models of our collection that we can adapt to required dimensions, from antiques models which will allow often to get a set or more of identical models, or we can create from scratch the model of our clients.
We work from pictures, drawings, designer’s sketches to create made-to-measure chandelier whatever style it is.

Since 1994, the founders of Ombres et Facettes have been following their passion for the decorative arts. Ombres et Facettes is located in a small village in the Loire Valley, between Blois and Orléans, near Chambord Castle, and can also be found at Saint-Ouen flea market in our 2 galleries 99 & 154 rue des Rosiers, a Mecca of Parisian antique shops and luxury à la française. Our passion and technical expertise allows us to restore and reproduce old light fittings, with the aim of preserving and enhancing the beauty of these collector's pieces. Safeguarding our artistic heritage is one of the missions established by the company founders, driven by their belief in quality craftsmanship. We are dedicated to exceptional quality, focusing primarily on bespoke pieces. Working in close collaboration with architects and decorators, we adapt our creations to their intended location to best meet your expectations and elevate the space. The company's activities can be divided into three key areas: the creation, reproduction and restoration of chandeliers and light fittings. Our creations are inspired by the bronzeworking traditions and crystal chandelier makers of the early 18th century and 19th century.
We are able to adapt these classic models to suit modern tastes, basing our designs on archival materials and taking inspiration from photographs of old models. We also create contemporary models, combining craftsmanship and luxurious materials with modern lines and designs.

- Rock Crystal Chaine Chandelier of 12 Lights in Bronze & with Silver FinishBy OMBRES ET FACETTESLocated in SAINT-OUEN-SUR-SEINE, FRThis chandelier is an original variation of the chain models that could be found in the 18th century, such as the Louis XVI period torchiere chandelier in the Château de Versailles. On a central openwork bowl surmounted by a metal dagger, twelve arms of light are spread out. Each of these supports a cup in the centre of which a flower bud wick is in full bloom. Four arms extending from the central dagger connect the central cup to a small tray decorated with rosettes and pendants. These same pendants are repeated under the bowl and on the light arms. This composition creates two superimposed parts, the first in bronze, very light because of the spacing of the arms, and the second in rock crystal, more dense, like a forest. We have this one in stock however we can reproduce it in an other finish or in an other size.
