A Stunning 19th Century Italian Crystal & Gilt Wood Column Chandelier
About the Item
An Italian crystal and gilt wood column chandelier from the 19th century. This antique chandelier from Italy features an elegantly carved wood central column with gilt finish, decorated with a collection of various crystals, swagged Italian glass trim, and hand blown glass bottom finial. Eight golden tone metal s-shaped arms encircle the bottom column gallery, each gently swagging outward to support the metal "flower petal" bobèches with painted candle sleeves at their center. The upper column and crown are topped with a series of waterfall draped glass and crystal ornaments, and embellished with petite glass florettes. The wood column has a white, off-white and gilt palette. This hanging light fixture has been rewired for the US, and comes with a complimentary 3-foot chain and canopy painted to match. Adorn your home with this fabulous 19th century Italian crystal chandelier to add a feeling of grandeur and elegance.
