Designed by Tord Boontje and produced by Foscarini, the Italian lighting firm founded in Venice on the legendary island of Murano, where generations of master craftsman have skillfully used their unmatched imagination and skill to create the most innovative works of light into the modern era.
Inspired by our molten sun, the 'Sun-Light of Love' consists of 390 individual cold-pressed steel rays that are mechanically jointed to the central body. The result is a geometric, yet simultaneously fluid organic shape, with no defined beginning or end. Executed in liquid coated aluminum and steel with a matte powder-coat finish to the exacting standards of Foscarini.

Illuminated via integrated 38W LED providing 3170 maximum lumens with 2700K color and CRI>90. Dimmable according to switch (switch not included). This light is suspended from 1 canopy, that is 8.75 inches in diameter, by 3 steel cables with a maximum drop of 134 inches. This lamp is ETL listed. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from an authorized 3rd party vendor for an additional fee.
