If you are passionate about early 20th century decorative art in general and about the outdoor winter sports (and fun) in particular then you will love this very rare, art glass light fixture. What you are seeing here is a possibly unique dish design pendant with several winter sports scenes. With early 20th century lighting being one of our specialities, we can tell you that in our decades of dealing in special fixtures, we have never seen this light fixture before and to have found it in such good condition makes it even more special. The many winter sport scenes include ice or figure skating, skiing or 'langlaufen' and sleigh riding or sledding. This wonderful antique fixture is over 100 years old and it is in excellent condition and when taken care of properly it will remain this way for at least another 100 years. You will not be its next custodian for such a long time, but we are certain your family will love to take care of and enjoy this antique after you and we are long gone.
