Mid-Century East German copper drop ceiling pendant by VEB Leuchtenbau, 1970s. 'VEB' or Volks Eigener Betrieb translates to Publicly-owned business and was the main legal form of industrial enterprise in communist East Germany. This Tom Dixon style ceiling has a copper tone and soft curves which make for an attractive and versatile ceiling lamp. It is in original condition with some visible scratching and wear consistent with its age and use.
