Very Rare & Stylish Mid-Century Lead Lined Venice Murano Pendant / Ceiling Lamp

Timeless and practical size midcentury pendant, ideal for hallway, landing and bedroom.
This rare ceiling lamp from the midcentury era could be the perfect lighting solution for an entrance or any other small living space. This unique, mouthblown and hand-painted design is a rare sight and an absolute joy to look at. Not in the least, because of the rare lead lining on the outside of each section. We have no idea how they have managed to make this lining stick to the glass, but they did a great job, because it has held perfectly for at least 70 years already and it still looks marvelous. The art glass shade itself too is a bit of an enigma. It must have been mouthblown in a metal frame first (like most of these Venetian pendants), but in this case for it to look more 'midcentury sleek' they removed the frame and hand-painted the cool lead lining. In the daytime this is a work of fine glass art on your ceiling and in the evenings this organic looking geometrical pendant radiates an atmospheric and warm light. One that unfortunately cannot be caught in a photo, but you can, again, take our word for it.
This rare materials and great looking design pendant will look great in midcentury interiors, but also in more contemporary ones. It is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and thanks to the hook inside the canopy it is easy and safely to hang as well.
