About the Item

A beautifully crafted light fixture for Black Forest and mountaineering enthusiasts. This beautifully executed and sculptural light fixture will look great at your home, but it can also create the perfect atmosphere in a cabin, lodge, a man cave, a restaurant or in an 'outdoor store'. All hand carved out of wood this finely detailed, young male mountaineer in his knickerbockers and full mountain climbing gear, will bring light both during the days and evenings. This rare fixture even comes with the original Light fixture. This mountaineer's outfit is typically Austrian and his body posture, whilst holding on to the power cord rope with one hand and to rope with the light pendant with the other, is simply perfect. This rare and highly decorative work of lighting art is a real eyecatcher and he will always give visitors or customers something to enjoy and talk about. It is very detailed in carving, hand colored and I mind you, it is perfectly wired. The Fixture requires one European E12 / 110 Volt light bulb, up to 40 watts. The sculpture is approximate 19" high and 11" at the widest point, total length with power cord is approximately 59 inches.
