Vintage Italian Murano Incamiciato Blown Two Tiered Ten Arm Chandelier in Silver
About the Item
A stunning modern and unique two- tiered Murano chandelier comprised of ten upturned silver blown arms and center shaft and finishing with refined crystal blown reeded drops. The bobeches (cups) and center ball are blown in a white opaline glass with an interior cream color. This technique called "incamiciatura," consists of superimposing layers of glass of different colors on the glass mass which creating a cream color molten glass that when illuminated has an extraordinary lively light amber effect. We further enhanced this illuminating effect by adding candelabra sockets on top of the bobeches rather than maintaining the traditional candle sleeves.
