19th century French marble illuminated white marble torchere column
This large French white marble pedestal is hollow in allowing it to be lit from the inside, the column has a stepped octagonal base fluted with a central baluster leading up to a flat round platform top
The column has a very attractively patterned marble flecked with a little grey, it is in good condition and heavy, the top can be removed for transportation
The pedestal is 37” high, and 11” wide at floor level
