Special features: with slight signs of use. We are offering up to 3 examples of this constructivist floor lamp from a well-kept private collection. The sliding potentiometer of the dimmer is located in the base, the light source at the top in the reflector. The lights only shine onto the ceiling and can be dimmed. One luminaire has an additional cord foot switch; the dimmer no longer switches the light source off completely. This allows the light to be disconnected from the power supply.
About this item: The 3 German floor lamps come from the possession of a collector with an affinity for design. The manufacturer SERIEN was co-founded by Jean Marc La Costa and has several design award-winning models. The BASIS floor lamp was designed according to constructivist principles, with the technical functional elements becoming a design element. These lights were produced by hand and in small series. The spatial effect of the lights is very restrained and recognizably high quality. The indirect lighting, reflected through the ceiling, provides a very soft light, the illuminated ceiling makes the room appear higher and wider. An interesting lighting object that is not often offered.
