1930's Modernist Dentist Floor Lamp
About the Item
This is an original piece made in 1930’s Czechoslovakia. A striking dominant floor lamp, with super sized proportions. A large copper headlight that is adjustable, supported by a stainless steel up-stand, this piece is unusually striking. Used as a dentist inspection floor lamp in the early 1930s, this lamp has the design precision typical of the early Modernist era.
All parts to the lamp have a patina on the surface that gives the pieces unique charm and character.
It is in very good vintage condition. There are no dents, only slight signs of natural wear and tear on the metal surfaces. Inside the adjustable shades, the white paint has got some small wear.
