This Art Deco blue and Milk Glass Torchiere, originating from the United States Circa 1935 is an excellent example of the Machine Ages influence on Art Deco in America. This artful cobalt blue glass and satin nickel torchiere incorporates classic Art Deco design featured with an understated and refined palette. With its upward illuminating milk glass shade, this Torchiere's diffused light balances the color and tone of the piece brilliantly. The body of the lamp is composed of rectangular blue glass panels segmented with spaced rectilinear fittings in satin nickel, moving downward to its cylindrical chrome base to create a classic torchiere silhouette. This lamp blends Art Deco design and American craftsmanship in a balanced and usable scale. Creating an elegant ambience for any space, this piece will easily style with a variety of interiors from Art Deco to Modern and contemporary spaces.
