Brass and Teak Floor Lamp with Holophane Lead Crystal Shade
About the Item
A brass and teak torchière type floor lamp with a lead crystal Holophane shade. The teak base has a 2" diameter. The base has a 10" diameter and the shade is 13" wide. Holophane originally made these prismatic shades for early gas lighting as the prisms would create more light out of very low wattage. The lead crystal creates lovely lighting and you can change the ambiance of the lighting by just changing the bulb. Rewired.
