Floor Lamp, Austria 1950s
About the Item
Floor lamp made of brass, probably ash or birch wood and a glossy white lacquered diabolo shade with two light sources.
The base made of solid brass makes the light sturdy. The light head which consists of both up and down light can be directed in numerous positions.
Made in Austria probably mid to end 1950s.
Besides the blemish to the shade (please see close up on picture 11) the piece is in very good condition.
Golden twisted fabric cord has been applied which gives it the right look.
