Danish Modern Le Klint brass floor Lamp, 1960s, Denmark
About the Item
A modern brass floor lamp designed by Aage Petersen for Le Klint in 1949. This particular version is most likely from the 1960s. It is a simplistic modern piece in brass with a white pleated shade.
The height is adjustable spanning from 130cm to 180cm.
The shade is an old but new hand-folded shade by Le Klint. The condition of the lamp base is in good vintage condition with small marks and scratches on the base and stem.
It is ready to use with an E26/E27 socket, switch on socket and a black cord.
Aage Petersen was a trained sculptor from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. His naturalistic sculptural works covered many different themes. Most famous is his lamp designs, in particular his designs for Le Klint during the 1940s and 1950s.
