About the Item
This floor lamp made by Oscar Torlasco after World War II, Torlasco was a lighting genius creating sophisticated innovative and modern-looking designer lamps.
This lamp is made with aluminum, brass and features a glass lens that magnifies the cone of light making it the perfect reading lamp.
Joints made of brass allow not only the height to be adjusted, but also the tilt of the lamp and the cap, which can tilt left and right.
The lamp recalls stylized motifs and were molds that created some war industry components years earlier.
The lamp is in perfect original condition, has only been rewired , but still has its original patina,this lamp is surely one of the greatest examples of Italian modernity as far as lighting is concerned, and the 'very high quality and ingenuity of its functionality certainly raise it to be one of the most beautiful reading lamps of the 20th century.
Adapt is perfect as a reading lamp beside a sofa or an armchair.
definitely a product for those who have the culture in appreciating its brilliance.
