He started working for himself after having worked with Gio Ponti, who was his mentor and teacher in his early years. He became a industrial designer and started working with many famous manufactures and designers like Cesare Cassina, Bernini, Arteluce, Acerbis, Fantoni, Artemide, Luci, Knoll and Lema.
