About the Item
Designed by Charlotte Wawer for living room lamps in Germany in the 80s. In a very good original condition.This lamp gives a soft light and a great atmosphere in your interior modern or cottage style. Very high quality leather floor lamp with goat skin shade and decorated handcrafted made with grey leather at the base and stem. Also a grey - green leather beautiful ceiling lamp available.
Lampshade made from parchment. The brass stand is also loosened up with suede.
Based on Charlotte Wawer's designs, test pieces are often made with painstaking detail.

Beautiful industrial design of a unique standing lamp "Argo" model, designed in 1984 for Vereinigte Werkstätten with a marble base and a streamlined aluminum shade rotating around and from top to bottom in every desirable position to enjoy the dynamic look of the design.
After studying architecture, Kurt Ziehmer founded his own design studio in Düsseldorf in 1968 and developed light objects with and for Gunther Lambert. In 1978 he received the North Rhine-Westphalian promotional award for young artists. From 1977-1981 he was a lecturer at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences.
