The "Garaff" floor lamp is an imaginative product of the interaction between two great designers who work in many disciplines. Pepe Cortés as a furniture designer and in the creation of interior design concepts and Javier Mariscal also as a furniture designer and as an illustrator and successful comic artist.
The postmodern floor lamp by Javier Mariscal and Pepe Cortés is exemplary of this period in the early 1980s. It was produced in a limited edition.
A confirmation of the lamp by Julia Mariscal:
"The "Garraf" lamp was produced for the exhibition "Muebles Muy Formales" by B.D. Ediciones de Diseño, Barcelona in 1983. Where Pepe Cortés and Javier Mariscal presented a series of design furniture like Taburte Dúplex, Lámpara Rocafort, Lámpara Araña, and Mueble BCNB among others."
