This highly sophisticated and materially exquisite Mid-Century Modernist Articulating Polished Brass and Ratan Wrapped Floor Lamp originates from the United States, Circa 1970. Features a rounded base leading to a rattan wrapped body from which an adjustable brass rod emerges, curving to house the articulating rounded triangular shade. Will brilliant proportions and rendered in a gleaming polished brass, this floor lamp is a brilliant example of the design elements and motifs utilized in Mid-Century modernist design. This piece will serve beautifully as a reading or accent light and effortlessly styles in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, and accommodating one Edison base bulb achieving up to 100 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
