Minimalist Brazilian Handcrafted Floor Lamp "Hwá" by Dimitrih Correa

About the product The Hwá lamp suggests an innovative usability for its light bulb by using a magnetic system. A magnet that is underneath the wood base can be positioned all over the metallic base, allowing several types of configurations. It can also be used in other metallic surfaces other than the base itself. . Materials: Reclaimed Peroba Rosa hardwood, Carbon steel with matte black or white painting, LED 6W, Brass. About the Collection The Hwá lamp is part of the exclusive collection Luctus Murnan'. From the Latin, Luctus means mourn and it refers to the destruction of Mata Atlântica, a natural forest along the seaside of Brazil, that nowadays has only 15% of its original configuration left. Murnan, also means mourn, but from the old english and express the feeling about the destruction that we face today with the Amazon forest. The proposal is a reflection between past, present and decisions for the future. "Wé canne edwend hwá wé wanneff". Sentence from old english that means: We can change whatever we want.
