Möllers Armaturfabrik Eskiltuna Floor Lamp in Teak and Brass, Sweden, 1950s
About the Item
This rare floor lamp was produced by Möllers Armaturfabrik in Eskiltuna, Sweden in the 1950s. The model is numbered 86 and the lamp is marked 'MAE 86' with a metal plate on the bottom of the base. This tall, elegant design could work well as a floor lamp or as a tall table lamp placed on a lower table.
The striking design is marked by the cone shaped body in solid teak wood, slightly raised and resting on three outward bending legs. The central stem is in polished brass. The shape of the foot is repeated in the cone shape of the shade, which has been renewed in a linen textured ivory fabric.
The lamp is in very good condition, fully functioning, currently with a 220V European plug. Pedal/push light switch.
