Murano Art Glass Italian Mid-Century Floor Lamp, 1950
About the Item
Exquisite piece of furniture that exemplifies timeless design and exceptional craftsmanship. Twisted glass shape for this aqua green floor lamp. Meticulous and detailed workmanship creates a design never seen before. Sculptural object.
Floor lamp composed of a polished brass structure and light green Murano glass bands. The structures of the glass bands have the shape of a four-leaf clover seen from above; they are positioned alternately along the structure, so as to form an intertwining with the brass profiles. Above the floor lamp there is a brass cover which reflects the cloverleaf shape of the glass. Its appearance is regal and elegant in its simplicity. Narrow and long, it takes up little space, but when turned on it is very bright. Internally there are eight lights.
