A vintage Art Deco Italian chandelier made of handcrafted brass and hand blown smoked crystal glass, designed by Pietro Chiesa and produced by FontanaArte, in good condition. The hanging ceiling pendant is featuring a three light socket. The wires have been renewed. Wear consistent with age and use, circa 1930-1940, Italy. Floor lamp designed by Pietro Chiesa in 1933 and produced by Fontana Arte. The Luminator was for its time a groundbreaking design, and considered to be the first indirect light floor lamp in design history. The lamp is completely built up in metal, consisting of a stem that widens into a cone. The color can be best described as a very light grey, with a hint of blue.
