RAAK D2300 Tube Floor Lamp the Netherlands, 1960
About the Item
Rare and oversized floor lamp model D2300 designed and manufactured by RAAK Amsterdam, The Netherlands 1960. This cool and oversized look floor lamp has a round weighted base, which is finished in a black wrinkle paint, the arm is fully rotatable so that the shade can be positioned in the direction you want it. The shade is made of bent sheet aluminium into a large round tube, and it still has its original silver paint. This lamp is a very rare one from the collection of Raak, it is only the second time I come across this beauty. The lamp is in fantastic original condition and even has its original on/off floor switch. The lamp uses 2x E27 bulbs up to 100 watt each. The lamp lights in both directions, giving it a nice light effect when lit.
This lamp is checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA. For US usage we could change the plug, or you can get a converter if needed for a floor or table lamp with transformer in it. Feel free to inquire for options.
