About the Item
Postmodern sculptured painted folded metal floor lamp slack 1 by Mart Van Schijndel for Martech, 1979. This beauty is in great condition but his some minor spots as can be seen in the images. The lamp will be shipped overseas in a custom made wooden crate. Cost of insured transport organized by us is wooden crate included.
Mart Van Schijndel set up his own office in 1968 after completing his training at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. He had been the name behind a considerable number of architectural and interior design projects, also designing much of the furniture and lightning for these himself. In addition to his office work, he also taught at several prominent Dutch institutes for art and architecture, and was a professor of architecture in Düsseldorf for several years.
