About the Item
Sculptural Space Age floor lamp in chromed and painted metal, with white Carrara marble base and details, designed by Manifattura Toscana Luci and manufactured by Goffredo Reggiani in Italy, 1970s.
Rare, stunning and collectible, this floor lamp is a wonderful example on Space Age design. It's the kind of piece one woulf expect to spot in a frame of 2001: a Space Odyssey or other cinematic productions of the time.
Preserved in original conditions throughout, the lamp shows patina and signs of the time both to the metal and the base; it is, anyhow, in full working order - as shown in the attached video. A general overhaul might be necessary.
